The Melodious Warbler continued its stay in
the Cristin garden, showing well but intermittently throughout the day.
A brave
of Great Skuas and six Common Scoters were the best at sea
whilst the Narrows held five Grey Herons,
three Ringed Plovers, one Golden Plover, five Dunlins, one Snipe, one Whimbrel, 49 Curlews, ten Redshanks, one Common
Sandpiper, and 17 Turnstones. Wagtails passing through consisted of
one Yellow, three Greys, and six Whites with a sole Whinchat
found on Pen Cristin. Best of the rest include one Collared Dove, one Swift,
two Sand Martins, 121 Swallows, nine
Wheatears, and three Buzzards.
