It looks like today was our last glorious day for a while, with fierce North-westerlies setting in overnight. The weather was stunning and the birds complied too. A total of three Ring Ouzels were still lurking in the gorse whilst some excellent wader tallies add to four Ringed Plovers, one Bar-tailed Godwit, 35 Whimbrels, one Curlew, and 12 Turnstones.

Noticeable movement above concerned eight Sand Martins, 204 Swallows, and 13 House Martins and warbler passage amounted to one Grasshopper Warbler, two Whitethroats, 22 Blackcaps, 13 Chiffchaffs, 30 Willow Warblers, and 11 Goldcrests. A single Song Thrush was new in with other interesting migrants noted including four Siskins, ten Goldfinches, 126 Linnets, ten Lesser Redpolls, one Collared Dove, three White Wagtails, and 42 Wheatears.
