It was a very changeable day weather-wise, although for the most part low temperatures and driving rain made it a rather grim Boxing Day. The calm in the morning allowed for a few more passerines to show their faces: a single Chiffchaff was seen in Ty Pellaf garden, five Goldcrests were recorded, and a small thrush movement involved two Blackbirds, six Song Thrushes, nine Redwings and four Fieldfares.
